I am looking to buy a new big screen tv(40-52 inch). I play alot of videogames, and am really worried about burn in. I have read that DLP is the way to go. When people say DLP are they talking about the DLP rear projection?. Also, I have read that you can replace the bulbs on DLP sets. Are these really expensive? How long do they last?

Any advise on what direction to take would be helpful.

Thanks
Zero

"When people say DLP are they talking about the DLP rear projection?"
Yes. It's the only kind made. LCD has two flavors. Thin panel like a computer monitor and rear projection. DLP and LCD rear both have replaceable bulbs in the neighborhood of 200-300 bucks. Unsure of lamp life. No burn in on either type of big screen.
