moving a big screen and wondering if having it lean over at an angle will damage anything inside or if i just need to let things like the coolant settle after for awhile.

First of all, frank, what kind of TV is it? If it is a CRT rear projection, the only significant damage I forsee is the possiblility of the color guns getting out of allignment. On some newer TV's, you can manually, or even automatically move the guns and realign them.

I would not even consider transporting an LCD or DLP projection. Those are more fragile, and they can cost a lot to repair.

I would give a buddy a 6 pack for the use of his truck for a few hours. That is the only safe way to do it.
