Hi,
I just purchased a new Sony HX-900 DVR. It has been working quite well, can record on the HDD and onto DVD's. TV-Guide works. I'm running Co-Ax (no HDTV) into the input, running S-Video and RCA-jack Audio output to my Hitachi TV. My problem is that I suddenly now have closed caption text running on all the channels. I've read the manual and can't find where I turn this off. I've tried returning to the factory settings, no dice. Even tried re-running the easy setup (it scans all channels and wiped out my TV Guide setup). Nothing. Anyone out there have any ideas ?
