I recently got digital cable for the first time. I have a Motorolla DVR from Cox. My question is does a regular digital cable box distort the picture of the analog channels the way the DVR does? Please let me know. Thanks!!!

Most Motorola STB's have poor analog tuners. I split my cable and watch SD channels directly from the TV and not through the DVR.
