I am going from VHS to DVD using Xpert DVD maker 2.0 USB. I connected a SIMA CT-1 Video stabelizer but the problem now is that even w/the stabelizer, I still get "fuzzy" pictures. I have a 32" Sony Trinitron (1999. The picture looks like if you took a digital still and zoomed in to the point where edges become "rough" rather than smooth.

Is it a setting I'm missing or simply too large a TV screen?

And I still can't get closed caption though I am getting the Turtle Beach Advantage unit which says it will keep CC.

HELP.

i had the same problem. i cinverted one VHS to DVD using Xpert DVD maker and the quality of picture was just not what I had expected. And since my computer is kinda old (AMD 1 gig and a 7200 ATI) I decided to build a new computer. it was time anyway. I like to see how the VHS to DVD is going to come out using this new computer. still working on it.
