Quick question for anyone who knows. I have a dish 301 receiver and a valid dish card. Is there anyway for me to make my card work on the receiver. Do I have to marry it to the receiver?

i have a 2700 reciever and i have dish network i have both sta 110 119 signals but when i do the switch install i get input 110 odd
input 110 even
input 119 odd
input x x
someone please help
