We had a Sony 46" wide screen projection tv that got fried by lightning. We looking to replace it and don't know exactly what we want - maybe just a regular 32" tv as the newer tv's cost so much to repair. We've heard that our cable will go digital within the next two years. If we need an hd converter, how much to they cost. Do you need a converter on each tv or does it go on the line?

Digital and HD are 2 different things. Digital cable isn't necessarily HD.
