I had a Dishnetwork account around a year ago and had a balance of around 80 bucks left on account.I was wondering if there is a way to get set back up as a new customer. The reason for is not really the 80 bucks, but they block channels in my location that I feel I have right to view. Is there a way around this annoyance. Also do I have to give Dishnet my SSN.

After a year, that receiver balance clears. You may have some problem activating the receiver again under your ssn number, but you can activate that receiver again with someone elses name and ssn.
