I am setting up my PIP for a 34" Panasonic HDTV and I am hooked up to HD cable through Comcast. I also have a VCR and a DVD recorder hooked up. My component video is hooked up through my Onkyo receiver. When I use the splitter for the PIP, do I split the cable after it goes through the surge protector? Also I was going to buy a Phillips Home theater splitter at Wal-mart for like $8, will that be sufficient? Thanks for your help in advance!
