My TV is 5 yrs old, bought from Good Guys and bought extended warranty for add'l $500. Nothinh happened for 5 yrs, just one month after extended warranty expired I am no longer getting picture. Sound is load and clear. Can not even see volumer bar but volume changes. Managed to increase brightness max and then I could see menu items when TV menu pressed, but they appear to be distorted and faint. But still can not see picture even when playing DVD or anything but can hear sound. Any tips what to do. Want to avoid costly repair bill.
