I recently purchased a Dell W1900 LCD TV Monitor. I am planning on using that with my PC to record and watch HDTV. I was wondering a couple of things before I tried this. Can I split the cable so I can have the HDTV on the TV part of the LCD and the Video capture Computer Part? If so, will I see dimished quality if I split the cable 3 ways for the LCD TV, video capture card, and cable modem? Also, I believe that I can trade in my current cable box for a HDTV one, can I buy a regular digital cable box and have it in another room and get basic digital cable service? And if not, could anyone tell me how much more a month it would be for HDTV cable box and Basic Digital Cable Service?

Any Help would be appreciated.

Chris Walker - - Can you give me a general idea of where you are located?
