I have a dish network receiver that I want to move into a different room. The sat is connected to our main cable box outside and it apparently runs through all the co ax outlets. When I tried connecting the receiver to a different room, it keeps searching for connectivity. I've tried resetting it but nothing. I realize this is a very noob question but that's what I am. Thanks for any input.
