I have been trying for hours to transfer a Mini-DV tape to VHS. I know it seems simple, but for some reason it is not working. It plays great on the TV -- just not on the VCR. My girlfriend and I made a tape for THE AMAZING RACE (which needs to be sent off ASAP) so time is the of the essence; anyone help?

You say "It plays great on the TV -- just not on the VCR". I take it then the copy is made but will just not play on your VCR. Try another VCR for playback purposes.

Connect to the VCR with RCA jacks and set the VCR to line.
