Just picked one up on Ubid for $145. I know it isn't the top of the line for anything, but I really need to get rid of my VHS tapes (convert to DVD) and also my kids destroyed our VHS player (found Cheerios and some toys inside) and I wasn't about to get a new or used VHS player.
I looked around and there didn't seem to be any DVD Recorder/VHS player that got great reviews, but for $145 I figured it was worth the risk
Any opinions? |

Hopefully your VHS tapes aren't copy protected, if they are you wasted your money on a combo that won't copy them. |

This one is going back. I couldn't get it to record a DVD off of a home tape.
