Hello

I hooked up a Panasonic DMR-E10 with a vcr, tv and digital cable box. The cable box works fine when the recorder is on and set to channel three. If I turn the recorder off then the tv and vcr only receive the analog cable source. I want to be able to record from the digital cable box with both the recorder and vcr. Anybody have any ideas on what I may be missing? Is this even possible? Thanks.

VCR's and DVD recorders record an analog signal, neither one will accept a digital input.
