I have Panasonic DMR-ES30VS recorder. The Comcast cable guy came over last night and hooked up my new HDTV cable box. I have Sony 50" LCD with tuner. Anyhow, when he tried to hookup the DVD recorder, it plays DVD's but, does not recognize an antenna during setup. So, it cannot tape from TV with cable box. He says it can't be done and then left. SO, now I have HDTV cable and cannot tape stuff? Could this be correct?
