Is the so-called "lip sync" problem a problem specific to Samsung? I seem to see a lot of complaints about Samsung TVs and audio sync, but I don't seem to see similar complaints about other manufacturers. Is this just less of a problem on other sets?

I'm contemplating a new TV, and was looking at the HL-P5663W, but now I'm not sure.

I'm looking for something in that sort of size/price range. Predominantly it will be used for TV and videogaming, and it will have a Linux box hooked up to it as well. At the moment all my gear goes through a Rotel surround receiver. The Samsung was tempting because of the VGA inputs.
