I have an LG dvd/vcr combo. When I watch some tapes, the picture will have all lines on it at certain stages. Most often at the end of tapes and sometimes at the start. The counter also will stop counting at the same time. Please help! Thanks |

It's not reading record speed. Could be a tape tension problem or an alignment problem. Combos suck, buy seperate. |

After more than a year of virtually no problems, the Emerson EWD2203 DVD/VCR began showing automatic tracking problems. It all began while playing an old tape in SLP mode, when suddenly the picture was replaced with moments of blue. Minutes after playing a tape in SP mode to restore picture quality, I realized that the automatic tracking of my SLP/EP recordings, with the exception of those made on the Emerson and other VCR brands (including Admiral), takes longer to complete. Since no tracking problems with tapes in SP mode exist, I must assume that my DVD/VCR combination's issues can be solved. |
