I was trying to change the CRT coolant in my Magnavox RJ8530 but I spilled it on part of the small signal circuit board and focus/combo box. I washed these things off before powering the TV up, but still got sparking at the 30 KV power in to the focus box (the TV also shut itself off after a few seconds of sparking). I unplugged the power and the RBG CRT cables out of the focus box, washed them again, and left them out overnight to dry. In the morning, I turned the TV on forgetting they were unplugged and blew the fuse. I plugged them back in, but now the TV blows the fuse everytime I turn it on. I haven't found any visual evidence of a short so I was wondering how I would even go about testing the circuit board? Also, is it likely that I blew a major part in the power supply or the CRT, or just some random resistor or capacitor that I could replace at RadioShack?
