Jsut bought the reciever to connect with my Samsung DLP TV. Selecting DVI shows "Searching for Signal". Had to use the component cables to see a picture.
Ideas?

Roscoe, you need to press the tv/video button on the remote, then scroll down the list of connected/not connected to the DVI mode. It should read connected. Press the joy stick button. this will active the DVI mode. If you have a universal remote that will handle all your devices, you can program this procedure from the Samsung remote to one button on the universal remote, makeing it much easier. Hope this gets you going.

That I knew...the silly detail I missed was the switch on the back of the player to select Component or DVI output. |
