I am in the market for a DLP set - 50ish inch display (50-52). I was wondering what people's thoughts were on the LG 52SX4D. I haven't seen a lot of press or reviews on it anywhere. Anyone have any experience or thoughts on the set or LG's DLP sets in general? Thanks in advance. |

CNET's editor's take didn't think the quality was very good. He gave it a 6.1 out of 10. Here is the link. http://reviews.cnet.com/LG_52SX4D/4505-6482_7-31325026-2.html |

Side by side with the Samsung 5067 it was no contest, the Samsung was MUCH better. The level of detail visible on the same store loop was remarkable. The amount of pop in the picture made the LG look fuzzy. We had to move the Samsung off the back wall with the other projos to a front end cap or we would never have sold another of the comparably priced DLPs or D-ILA sets. Even so I'd say we sell more of the '67 series Samsungs over any other Projection set right now. HS |
