I want too know if it is possible to delete on hard disk for instance 20 minutes on a 2h20 video in order to burn a DVD of 2 hours. The problem is I can only burn DVD of 2 hours

You can take the 2 hour and 20 min title and burn it in FR mode in realtime and get the entire 2:20 on one disc. Alternatively you can use the "shorten segment" function to delete any amount of time from the title. This is useful to delete commercials from a network broadcast.

Another method would be to use the "Playlist" feature, add chapter marks around the wanted segments and then burn the newly created playlist to burn to the DVD.

For detailed use of these features please read your owners manual.
