Hey guys. First off, I see that many messages on this board have to do with DVD recording, so I apoligize in advance should this have been covered. I have done a search of the forum and can't seem to find an answer. I am converting old vhs tapes (both PAL and NTSC) to DVD using a Samsung World Wide Video player and a Panasonic DVD recorder. Most of my videos convert properly. I noticed that some of my NTSC were copy protected so I bought a stabilizer from Clearpix media that has solved this problem. They copy perfectly now. The problem I'm having is that some of the PAL videos that I try to record have 7 or 8 thin blue horizontal lines running thru the picture. This stabilizer doesn't seem to solve the problem. Does anyone know if there is a way to get these lines to vanish? As this was a rather cheap stabilizer, do I need a more high-tech (i.e. expensive) one to bypass this technology? Has anyone else had this problem and found a sure fire product to help?

Thanks in advance!

Scott
