I posted a ? earlier and found out that maybe using better cd-rw or dvd-rw disks might solve the prob I'm having playing movies on my dvd that says it plays every kind of media I can think of...but doesn't. Can anyone please let me know what brand names of Cdrw's and Dvdrw's they think are good (or the best) quality, or they've found work in most players? I'd really appreciate it...I don't really know which are s'posed to be the best, or compatible with more players, & this may solve my prob. Thanks In Advance I Really Appreciate It |

DVD-R and CD-R have higher compatibility than RW and cost less, try them. |

I should have added that I have tried both dvdr - cd-r, as well as dvdrw & cdrw with no luck. I don't get it...they will play in a friend of mines, & I made sure when I bought the Hitachi dvd player that it said it would play vcd - cdr & cdrw, because I know not all players will. Ughhhhhhh!!!!!!!!! |

The Hitachi might just be defective. I bought a JVC that was supposed to play RWs but wouldn't, took it back and exchanged it, the second one played them fine. |
