As most people who read this post know by now, the CRTC has allowed XM satellite radio to enter the Canadian market. The condition is that 10% of thier content must be Canadian. So then why isn't DTV and Dishnet afforded the same guidelines? The answer lies in the fact that the Libs major financial backers are BELL and the Aspers who own Global.

Do you think Dish or Dtv would make thier progamming 10% canadian? I can see now reruns of
market place,train 48 davinci's inquest. Or maybe
the Beachcombers could make a come back.
