I recently purchased a Mit WD-52525 and am very happy with it!
I have noticed two grey spots about the size of a quater at the very top of the screen, 3 inches to the left and right of center screen. They are transparent and don't seem to distort the picture at all, but since I know that they are there, they are really annnoying!! Any ideas what they could be from and what I could do about them?
Thanks, Gary

Sounds like dust on the primary mirror. I had similar spots and had the mirror cleaned, it was covered with dust. The larger dust particles were causing the spots. Once cleaned they were gone. If still under store warranty have them clean it. Mits sent someone out to clean mine.

Mits number is 949-830-8364

My husband and I bought a 2005 mitsubishi 62725.
Awsome it is. The only problem we have is a crackling
sound. sometimes not there at all. sometimes quite a lot-
i.e. every couple minutes from a barely audible 'snap' to a
noticeable electrical 'pop!' The only time we have static
electricity to speak of is the winter heating season where we run a ten galllon humidifier.
Gonna research some more.
We appreciate any input.
Sincerely, jimntess

Better not listen to me too close.

I think 60XS means 60 Xtra Stuck pixels!
I'll bullsh!t you every chance I get!

I have a 62725 and am experiencing the same issue. I live in a dusty area due to all the contruction going on. Magnolia HiFi folks are coming out in a couple of days to take a look at it and from what i was told from my sales person that it is a "dust on the mirror" issue. The question now is, will this keep on happening? And if so, it sounds like i'm going to have to have someone come out and clean the mirrors periodically. The picture is awesome but my time is important. I don't want to deal with this every so often.
