someone ask the question what is UNMODIFIED cable dscramblers ANSWER is it has no ability to unscramble channels,MODIFIED MEANS it has been updated with a video card /descrambler board so that it will unscramble premium channels AND ALL OTHER CHANNELS. |

You are ALL WRONG about universal descramblers!.. Cablevision uses Rapid Random Inversion... None of these junk boxes will work correctly. You will find yourself pressing MEM1 a zillion times because the screen with turn "negative" after a few seconds. This is a FACT...
One more thing.. the Titanium cablebox claims to handle rapid random inversion and it DOES NOT!... Not for cablevsion NYC (althought the bronx seems to have only random inversion)
