I am having a 20 in sony ctv and I find that the reds tend to get accentuated.
To fix this problem I have to change the hue.
But that affects other colors.
Can I solve this problem by changing the color temperature.

To some extent. Choosing the accurate or similarly named temperature will help. You might also consider using Digital Video Essentials to help with best picture. Unfortunately, some sets are biased towards red. Having a professional access the service menu and make adjustments might be necessary.
