I have a Sony kp-53v25 rear projection and the red color is off a couple centimeters on the picture. I felt as though I needed to put on 3-D glasses!! We covered up the red lens to take care of the problem temporarily but I can't stand to watch TV in just blue and green!!! Someone help. We tried to move the lens and figured when moving the TV it just shifted but that is not that problem . Any help??

When you moved the set the convergence changed. You need to go into the menu and find the option to set convergence. There may be an automatic option. Otherwise you will get some test patterns which allow you to adjust red and blue convergence. Typically this amounts to adjusting white vertical and horizontal lines so that they shown no red or blue shadows.

Thank you so much for your help!! I tried this but it didn't work it just made the "3-D" effect even worse. Any other suggestions before I spend a fortune on having a Sony tech. come out to my home??
