I'm currently using my RCA Scenium as the monitor for my computer. I downloaded Powerstrip and made a custom driver, but there's still a couple of small probelms that I can't seem to get around.

First, the computer's desktop extends beyond the boundries of the TV so that the edges of the desktop are always cut off. I can adjust the horizontal and vertical position of the image through the TV's menu, but not the size and I've yet to find an option in Windows XP or Powerstrip that will allow me to do that. Any ideas?

Second, the only screen resolution that is available through Windows XP or Powerstrip is 848X480 which I believe is 480i but my TV is capable of 1080i, so how do I get the maximum resolution?

Any help y'all could offer would be most appreciated. Thanks.

Using powerstrip, I run a resolution of 1200x666 on my JVC Dila. It is the highest resolution I could go without any overscan like you mentioned you have.

This might help you out:
