does anyone have the unlock code for an akura adv141s. I know there is one you put in with the remote as ive done it before but have now lost the code and since it has been unplugged it has reset!!!!!....please help!!! |

The following worked on two different models of LG DVD Players set to Region 4.
"NO DISK" on Display
Press "PAUSE" on Remote then enter "3 1 4 1 5 9"
"DISPLAY CODE" enter "0"
Press "PAUSE" on Remote

Bought a couple of DVD players in Iraq with wrong region and was told by sony and 12 super hacks no code possible and time to quit.. I gave it to a Iraqi student who broke the code in 30 minutes... very impressed... Just sharing the hack.

Region code hack posted by Startel at December 04 2002:
Power on the player with no disk in the drive
Press "PAUSE" on the remote
Enter "3 1 4 1 5 9" on the remote (the word Code appears on the display)
Enter "0" on the remote (0 = All Regions, 1 = Region 1, 2 = Region 2, etc.)
Press "PAUSE" on the remote
Power the player off and then back on
Note: Repeat everytime you want to change the region code
