Hello all,

I'm currently in the market for a HDTV and I've been considering a Panasonic 50LC14-b or a 43LC14. Costco has the the 50 inch for 2300.00 with the stand and Circuit City has the 43 inch for 2000.00 with out the stand. I've been reading how there's been lots of lamp problems with the LC13 models so my main concern is should I get the 43 inch and get the 4 year warranty on it or should I go with the 50 inch for cheaper at costco and keep my fingers crossed. If I do go with the 50 inch, how easy is it to change the lamps on my own? Any advise anyone can give me would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance

Do you really trust Pan...ic after the LC13 fiasco?
Does any warranty cover lamps?
How expensive are the lamps?
How often do they fail?
Better check out DLP or LCOS!

I like LCoS but It's hard to find any LCoS and quite frankley I don't feel like waiting for LCoS to come into itself. Warranty does cover lamps and from what I've read on these boards the 14's don't seem to have the same problems as the 13's. Lamps can be purchased on the internet for about 280 a pop and as far as I know DLP's use halogen lamps as well.
