Hi - rookie here - I recently got DirectTv since I have cable too -coming in thru same connection how do I split it so it can be 2 sources coming into same TV (cable has a tivo on it) Thanks

Just curious,why would U want both?..I know you cannot split cable tivo...I suggest U go to rat Shack and ask them and get what U need...maybe a multisplitter..I haven't had cable in 10 years,so I dunno..sorry that the best I can advise.

Im running a cable modem and theres a couple of channels that Cablevision offers that the dish dont carry - funny if I plug strictly to cable all ok -if plug strictly to dish all ok - if I split the only one works depending on the split. I also have a tivo dvr and dont know if I can use it with the dish -- Ima rook what can I say..
