It looks like TI is supplying more news on the availability of new (presumably xHD3) based sets than the actual set manufacturers are.

A press release from 4/11/2005 can be found at:

It looks like xHD3 will be available sometime in July. They claim that they are now mass producing the new chip(s) although they don't mention any model numbers.

I would expect press releases from the big manufacturers soon ...

That would be the xHD4 chip, if TI continued with their old naming scheme. It is an improvement over the xHD3 chip. They also have an HD4(if they still used the old naming scheme)chip that improves upon the HD3 chip.
