Thread: HELP! Sony KP-53V45 blue wavy line |

Problem is that on my screen theres a wavy blue line on the top of my screen. After some testing by covering each lens and looking at the screen it turns out the blue is the problem because where the blue wavy line is, above it it is all black where picture should be.
I have tested each lens and its the blue side. I have swaped the lens with the others and its the same. The part I am talking about is the peice under the lens that actaully shoots the image. So in essence the physical lens itself on all 3 is fine, instead the problem is the part below the lens.
Has anyone had this problem?
Is it easy to remedy?
What part do I need?
If so where can I get this part cheap or do I even need to get a new one?
Any suggestion or comments are much appreciated.

ihave a sony 52 inch projection tv and a sony surround sound system,my problem is crackling gradually builds over time to the point where i have to unplug it to get it to stop when i plug it back in it goes away for a while but it always comes back |

I have a sony KP 53V45 and I need some tech assistance. The video simply shut-off. I have perfect audio, but no video. There is no static, snow, or menu lists. The screen never tries to turn on. Prior to this incident, the tv took 2-3 minutes to turn on. I checked the resisters and fuses and all appeared ok. Please send help to
