I would like to thank you all for doing a service to the community with your helpful post and FAQs. I have a Fortec Lifetime Ultra system, also a Vu and Dishnet sats. They work fine, my only grit is the lack of a guide with information. I heard of some cable that can connect the Fortec Lifetime Ultra to the computer allowing you mod the software, would it be possible with this cable to mod the software to show the guide.

No guide with Fortec...cable has nothing to do with it...its a software and receiver issue
