I used yesterday and worked excellent, I didn't waiting for key cause it doing by itself.
If you have any question about it, I will tell you all the steps.

I installed 269 bin and did a reset to factory setting. But all I get was ECM [xx%] and when it reach 100% it stop for a few second and start that ECM thing again. Can you help? |

3-repeat the second step.
4-download the autoroll x-8500....245 and doing like the second step.
5-Download your channel.

What I mean is that you say " download de factory bin " etc... Well on you website http://www.pansatusa.com/download.htm there is no such a thing... Can you please be more specific ? You say - Download channel - what channel ? ... Thanks |

OK ANONYMOUS THAT HELPED AND I DOWNLOADED EVERYTHYNG, BUT NOW IT SAYS ON MY RECEIVER (ON)
NOTHING ELSE JUST THE LETTERS (On) IN FRONT OF THE RECEIVER WHAT IS THAT DOES ANY KNOW.

Setting Up FTA Receiver and Dish for Dish Network
Note : This is for the Pansat 2500a receiver. You may have to download a different
flash and downloader if you have a different receiver type.
1. turn off receiver, Connect satellite receiver to PC with RS-232C straight cable (Not Null Modem) or a serial cable with a male to female adaptor.
2. Turn on the power in the back of the satellite receiver. Don’t turn on the power button in the front of the receiver.
3. Open the Downloader
4. Click “BIN FILE” and select the (X-8500_2500A_245 ) bin file located in the flash folder. (autoroll flash).
Note: Use the Factory Flash (Pansat 2500A_040607_222_api(N) for basic FTA or if something goes wrong and you need the original flash. Go to www.pansatusa.com for the latest flash for your reveiver.
5. Do not interrupt while downloading. Make sure your Computer says "Download Complete", not just 100%. If you don't get "Download Complete" you have NOT completed the Flash!
6. Press OK after download complete; satellite receiver will reboot by itself.
Do not interrupt satellite receiver until reboot by itself. turn off receiver, hook to tv. turn on. wait for new keys to be find, a few minutes, then watch tv. |

I installed Auto Roll Bin 245 - Dishnet works okay
but Bev will not, I have a good signal and quality but it just says scrambled or bad channel, keys seem to be right. Can anyone give me a couple of suggestion? |

RESET the receiver...and PLEASE do NOT ask how...its basically like rebooting a computer...If U don't know how,then give it up...I've posted how to reset 1000x times here...good luck

These are the latest firmware for pansat with auto roll.

X-85BL_050405_246_api for pansat 2500A
X-85BL2_050330_245_api for pansat 1500A
X-87BL_050315_101_api for pansat 2700A
X-95BL_3032_2005_0405_api for pansat 5000HC
they all autoroll. you don't have to deal with entering key changes again.
