We have a pioneer rear projection tv that is around 17 years old. Never had problems until a few months ago, it would click to turn on and just keep clicking and nothing else. Unpluged it for a few days and it started working again and this happen about twice and then it was on for a few hours and the picture went blank and the last time we lost everything, picture and sound. It just sits and hums. Is it the power transformer, the capacitor or something else? |

It is old age, in dog years your Tv is nearly 130 years old, that is beyond warmed over death. That dog should have been buried years ago. May it RIP and welcome to the digital generation.
