I have a Phillips Model DSR7000/17 TIVO Receiver with Directv built in in the family room.


The picture on the receiver often gets scrambled and distorted for several seconds.

This happens all the time on almost all of the channels except the local channels.

We had another TIVO receiver in the family room before we got this one and it would do the same thing.


This also happens to the receiver upstairs in the master bedroom.


I called up two directv service guys and they said signal strength was a problem but they fixed that and the same problem occurs.


They also installed a new dish and a new dual LNB distribution Mult-Switch and nothing changed.



I hope this problem can be fixed.

It is annoying taping shows and you can never get a perfect picture on the broadcast.
