hi, i'm pretty new, i already tried LK's instructions from another thread

DP 301, 3100
With your remote control, press "menu", then "6" (system setup),
then "3"(diagnostics), now press "info", then "right", then "left"
you should be in the Memory Dump Page now,
scroll down (press "down") to line NVM 0320,
look to the 2nd column on right, your 4 digit password should be there,
seperated by 3's
For example, if your password is 9999, the number should look like
this: 39393939........

the problem i'm getting is, when i get to the diagnostics screen, i press info, it just brings up info about that screen, mainly what all the options do, for example what dial out and phone check etc do,
so when i press browse and theme, nothing is happening, i cant get to the dump screen
what am i doing wrong here? help me out please |

Chris...go to www.dsscommunity.com/forums ...ask/copy same question/post in Dishnet/bev "getting started" area...U will get some help there..can also use the "help Chat" area at bottom of page there at the forums at dsscommunity..very friendly helpful peeps there |
