Unlock Code for XMS 9550
The procedure for unlocking the XMS 9550 came from Strathfield's web site. www.strathfield.com.au, look under faq for this and other info.
Basically all you need to do is (1) turn dvd player on; (2) open the tray; (3) press 7739 on the remote then press select on remote; (4) then press 0 on remote for all regions. (5) Close the tray
Please note that there is no confirmation message displayed. If you wish to set a particular zone on your player then substitute the desired region code (1 through to 6) in the above procedure;for 0.

Hi people
I've got JVC XVN 33SL.
I bought it as a region 2 machine but made it multi regioned in less than 5 mins.
Heres how.
get in contact with www.dvdcodes.net
They offer a postal service which has a small devive that changes the region on you DVD player.
This is the only way the machine can be re-programmed.
Good luck and don't bother with silly handset hacks, the tool is the only way.

Hi, If anyone here has a Goodmans GDVD143fm, i know how to make it multi region. Simply turn it on, open the disc tray and keep it open, using ur remote press Setup, press next and prev.twice and a number should come up on the top right side of the screen saying something like VER. 2 or something like that, anyway, using the arrow keys on ur remote, press left or right untill it says VER: 255 which means Multi region, press Setup and TADA, there u have it, ur DVD player is set to Multi-region. |

Can someone help me unlock a "JVC XV-N312S" DVD Player? Can it be done using the remote or do I have to get a software patch by disc? I live in a Zone 1 Country (NTSC)and have played Zone 2 discs (PAL) on an American TV but only those that have been decrypted without the region code.
