i just bought myself a Toshiba 27AF44. Nice tv, love the sound, love the look, but one thing is making me mad. this tv does not give me the option to turn off the Velocity Modulation. does anyone know how i can do this? i know entering Service Mode is risky, but its really annoying. please someone help me. |

Steve, sounds like you answered your own question: "this tv does not give me the option to turn off the Velocity Modulation." Do not fool around with tv innards unless you know what you are doing. |

On my 32AF43, it is disabled by going to the Picture Preference menu, selecting SVM, and then choosing, "OFF" |

I believe it can also be tured off by changing a setting in "design" mode, but I'm not sure of the procedure for your model. |
