I have my DVD video go to the TV's SVideo rear input, and the cable box to the rear AV input. Audio is switched by the cable box pass-through, only one set of cables to the tv. The audio comes in perfectly on AUX1 input slection, but the video won't switch. Both have worked since I set it up this way, but the tv will not pick reliably between them. Does anyone know how to pick which video will output on the AUX1 mode? (AUX2 is always a black screen, no sound)

Well, enter ID10T clause here, I figured it out when I saw that the cable box end of the AV cord was plugged into the SPIDF IN port, rather than the AV out right next to it. Turns out the TV picks SVideo over AV, so I just have to unplug the DVD video (SVideo) when I want to use the cable box. Pain in the butt, but at least it's predictable now. I was ready to pull my hair out, too, with no consistent behavior!
