Lk. Tuesday you posted how to change to new keys but my screen says wait for picture. I was reading another post see below and it says to hit and hold ok till it flashes red. Would that make a difference? I don't want to screw up the receiver.
Any help is appreciated. NewbieDJ

Menu button
select parental controls
2nd PIN/enter 0000
Nagravision
Select dishnetwork (top right, use r/l arrows)
scroll down
select key 00
scroll down
enter 8A C4 96 93 EC 79 9D 57
check it carefully.
Hit and hold OK until it flashes (red, bottom right of screen).
exit out and reboot with switch on back of box.

This changed on Thursday the March 10th
Key Change: Key01 - 73 54 B2 CD 7B A6 78 E5
Follow the same directions form the previous change. Just change
key 00 to key 01
and key data to 73 54 B2 CD 7B A6 78 E5
Here's the How To fix thread,but this post will probably get deleted...so copy/past it quick into notepad or word on your computer (make a folder called FTA stuff)do same with sites listed on thread here "Reputable DSS sites",in case this goes down or maintains the present "anti-piracy" stance that it has taken..

If you're a noob you need a working guide. Go to al7bar.tk and search their forums for a great noob guide written by HORSEGIRL. It is titled "how2pansat2500". This great guide will lead you step by step to setting up an new system. It even tells you how to install your keys, however it is older and the keys are different. This guide will get you in the ball park and then you can ask tweaking questions in these threads. There are a great bunch of people here who want to help but you have to do some of the work yourself. Just as LK. He gets frustrated with us but he does have the answers and we love him, and his boat. The fisherman@iname.com |

er...thats called the new "autoroll" bins...latest is v245...IT AUTOMATICALLY UPDATES THE DISHNETWORK KEYS WHENEVR THEY CHANGE...NO NEED TO MANUALLY UPDATE THE KEY CODES,ONCE u FLASH THIS AUTOROLL BIN TO YOUR RECEIVER... the v245 autoroll bin is Linked above in my post.. |

KEY00 CHANGE
How to fix:
press menu
go down to parental controls, and press OK
press down arrow and enter 0000 thats 4 zeros
now go down to nagravision and press ok
now press the right side arrow next to the ok button 11 times until it says dish network
now press the down arrow 1 time
key number should read 00 now
now press the down arrow 1 time
using the buttons on the remote (number buttons, To type the letters into the new keydata, press the appropriate button on your remote: Audio = A, Info = B, Signal = C, Pause = D, Sat = E, EPG = F)
set the key to whatever the latest key code is
B3 E1 DF 37 53 75 8A B5
now press the ok button!
then press exit 3x to exit the menu
Now reset the receiver..Power OFF back of receiver,wait 1 minute,power ON
This is how to change your public keys when needed, these instructions should work for both 2300 and 2500 pansats.

FOR FORTEC ULTRA:
Press MENU on the remote control
Then right side arrow to CHANNEL EDIT
Go down to CODE, and press OK, and enter 1010 (Could also be 1668 or 1688)
Then right side arrow to turn OFF, KEYCODE FUNCTION
Go down to NAGRAVISION and press OK
Now press the right side arrow next to the OK button 11 times until it says DISH NETWORK
Go down to KEY NUMBER, change to 00
Enter the following KEY with your remote control (enter latest key code)
B3 E1 DF 37 53 75 8A B5
Now press OK,
Now press EXIT once
Then right side arrow and enter 1668, this will turn ON, KEYCODE FUNCTION
Then press EXIT twice to turn off the on screen menu and you are finished, and ready to watch TV.
Fortec buttons to use for letters
Sat=a
info=b
tv/radio=c
pause=d
BTW..cricket channels went to nagra2 yesterday...indian channels too

adult channels on dish net, went to nagravision2 already. there is no crack for nagra2. |

the only difference of the 246 pansat file is that the clock , time of day is more accurate. |

I live in the Azores(Pico Island)in Portugal and I ha ve a PANSAT 2500A. I recieve the local cable network (TV CABO PORTUGAL), but it says bad or scrambled signal. Please help me to unlock these channels.

they all autoroll. and the 2700a has a working (epg)!

Have had my 2700A running fine for a couple of weeks but... last night a data download started and hung during the download process. Repeated attempts to start data download again now always ends with a hang after a while. My 2700A has X-87-BL----105_api software that has the "Autoroll" feature but it appears that it is no longer functioning properly. With Autoroll on the fritz my idea is to insert keys manually. Anybody have the new keys? |

read the "Latest keys" thread moron..the OBVIOUS place to look!...IT'LL ALSO EXPLAIN TO u THAT all AUTOROLLS ARE DOWN AND WILL BE...cHARLIE HAS ecm'D THEM...but U can manually input the new keys to fix..
