I WOULD LIKE TO HEAR FROM ANYONE THAT IS USING A
DISH 811 RECEIVER. I HAVE ORDERED THIS RECEIVER,
BUT IT IS ON BACK ORDER, AS WELL AS THE TV IT WILL
BE USED WITH,SONY KF50WE610. JUST WANT TO HEAR ANY PROS OR CONS ABOUT THIS RECEIVER. |

I'm have an 811 receiver and I'm loving it! Just make sure you get the HD pak (hdmovies, hdnet, discovery hd, espn hd, etc...) Only cons I have is that there are only 5 HD channels. Another thing is that I always have to "check switch" every now and then. Hopefully, dish brings out more HD channels! BTW, I have a Samsung DLP 56HLN. |

I could not get my Dish811 to work with my
Sony KV32XBR450 when set to 1080i mode.
I tried two different 811's, same result
with both. Work OK in 480i mode but
that is not HDTV. |
