I have seen the Panasonic pt ae500 for $1999. canadian in Winnipeg. It is last years model, but it looks way better than anything else I have seen in that price range. If you can find one where you are I would highly recommend it. |

and the AE700u goes way beyond the AE500, and most importantly bringing it up to a key benchmark, which is the commercial in-theater experience, and that is why its the best selling FP in the world right now
Everyone knows that every year models tend to improve however the gold standard from the beginning was always the commercial in-theater experience and the AE700u finally does it at a very low price
In United States dollars (with the new rebate) it just went below the 2000 dollar mark
its worth every extra penny

Unfortunately the pt ae700 is still very hard to find for under $3000. in Canada. It is more than just the currency exchange, all electronics are more expensive here and the $200 rebate is only in the us. |
