I am building a new theater room and I was going to go with a plasma because of where I was going to have to put the room, there were windows but now I have freed up a completely dark unfinished end of the basement (shes all mine)!
The space is 14x20 and now I want to go with a projector and I know nothing about them all my research has been on plasma.
And I had set aside around $6000 for the plasma so I hope I get away a little cheaper this way and I hear it’s a way better experience with the projector.
Please hit me with some info and suggestions!
I would greatly appreciate your input.

The Panasonic AE700u LCD FRONT PROJECTOR, currently selling around 2200 dollars is w/o any doubt the best hi def 720p front projector in the world today in terms of performance to price

Now of course if you are willing to drop 15k to 40k, there will be some new 1080p projectors upcoming, however I don't think they make much sense for most people at this time. It will take probably 2 to 3 yrs to bring them down to ultra low cost levels
