point your sat due south at 35 degree
then imagine your compass as a clock and due south is 12 oclock and you want to be at 1030 or 1100
but move in small increments and stop for 20 seconds then move and stop move and stop

or do it the easy way and buy a signal meter for 29.99 and get your directions from your reciever on where to point your dish.
