I used to have a samsung dlp, I could split screen and use close caption to watch one channel while wife watches another. One of my favorite features. Samsung even lets you direct audio to main pip or sub pip.

Bought a new sony kdf-60xs955. When using twin view, CC only turns on when audio on that side of the screen! %@@# What type of logic is that? Is there a fix?

Should mention that I'm using hd on left side and right side is analog (sony limitation).

From what I've heard, you dont want to leave your tv on split screen for extended periods. Im not sure how bad(if at all)it is, but I thought I'd throw that out there.

If my wife has a show she'd like to watch, and Im watching something downstairs, she goes to the bedroom and watches the little 27":-)

I suggest you keep your new TV and get a wife who will watch what you tell her to watch.

And yes I am divorced, why do you ask? :-)
