I have Comcast digital cable and with the newer boxes when you turn on the TV and cable box it has a default channel, meaning it always goes to the same channel no matter what you were watching last. In my case it is always channel 8. Comcast customer service told me this is done intentionally so you would always see the Comcast channel when you turn on your TV, and there's no way to change it. Older boxes don't do this. I think it's a nuisance and would like to turn it off. Is there any way to turn this off?
